Print Graphic Design + Illustration

Lisa Sandler graduated from the School of Visual Arts in New York City with a degree in Graphic Design. She landed at Miramax Films as Creative Director of Print Advertising. Lisa was responsible for designing logos and art for movie posters, advertising campaigns and marketing materials. She also came up with concepts, sketchbooks and poses for photo shoots used in these materials, directing photographers as they photographed actors. Many of these pieces have become collectibles.

After over nine years of intense deadlines and crazy schedules, Lisa left Miramax and went out on her own, first as a design consultant for various film studios and ad agencies, then under her own company: Lisa Sandler Design. Lisa designs and produces custom wedding invitations, baby announcements, holiday cards, corporate logos, business cards and stationery, posters, postcards and brochures, CD covers for musicians and custom Illustrations. At that time she also started doing portrait sessions for holiday cards, baby showers, weddings and events.
